    1. some of it was really very good, but Grand Miscommunication subplots make me crazy, and after a while it just got too hard to ignore that no boy I ever met was this much of an emotional toddler, still, in their senior year of high school. d can someone explain to me what ariadne's role in this story was? besides driving people around and giving boys sympathetic looks when they treat her like shit for asking what's wrong, I mean.

    2. HELP!! I've fallen into yet another fandom and I can't get out!I'm officially hooked. Arthur/Eames has become my #2 favorite fandom after Sterek. I'm not sure what it is about these stories that captivate me so.Not a clue. This is a high school AU where Arthur and Eames pretend to be boyfriends because of reasons. It's full of teenage angst, UST and sweetness.I loved it!

    3. I had anwell, I won't call it an "epiphany" cuz that sounds melodramatic, but I had a like, whoa man, thought while reading this fic. But first a break for some hot dudes.Dude #1 (Arthur)Dude #2 (Eames)Okay, I really, really fucking hate the Big Misunderstanding trope. Like, hold me back, I'm going to kick the shit out of it hate it.Yet what is this fake-boyfriends fic but a Big Understanding fic? Or really, a series of miscommunications fic? We've got two young men, Arthur & Eames, who've c [...]

    4. 3.5 StarsI'm thoroughly charmed, Rosa. Damnit! It's not like I don't have enough on my plate alreadyOne thing to note is that if you take away the fact that this is Inception fanfic, what's left in its place is really quite the decent, high school, fake boyfriend story. Somehow Arthur and Eames find themselves in an odd predicament that really makes no sense as to why they agree to lie about their relationship status. But who am I to argue about such semantics??These guys try really hard to be a [...]

    5. Ugh! This was so good. *shakes fist* at Rosa and Otila. Why? Why? Did you have to get me sucked into another fandom. And I don't even know what to call this pairing Earthur? Ames? FBT always sucks me in and fortunately this fic delivers the goods. Though Arthur's head remains up his ass a little too long for me. Lots of fun.

    6. Simple Math just about fulfills all those fanfic promises: talented writing interspersed with the occasional charming typo, adorkable characters that may or may not act entirely believable and may or may not practically come on the spot when they notice how their love interest has missed a tiny patch of beard when shaving, deliciously stretched out juvenile angst balanced by hot kisses and smut, and a sugary wrap-up. Kudos.

    7. How is it that with all the Sterek I have read, my favorite HS AU isn’t set in the Teen Wolf world, but in Inception AU.  This Arthur / Eames is dripping with angst, moody as f*ck and everything a high school au should embody.  Arthur/ Eames isn’t my ship, but that didn’t matter for me to enjoy this story.

    8. Those stories that start really, really, really good then the author stretches the misunderstanding subplot more than necessary and I become an angry frustrated mess.
