    1. I really enjoyed the story from Ashleigh's perspective. It was very neat to see how she perceived her friends and how she reacted to them as she weaved her tale. Ash is definitely a girl who is torn between hoping for a different life and trying to remain on the path her mother has chosen for her. I really admired Ash in this short because she wasn't willing to lose Glen or give up on him, even though she didn't love him. Midsummer Knight definitely helps to fill out the Calaveras world. 2. This review was written for LibraryThing Members Giveaways. This book is about the trial that Glen faces to become a Knight. Being related to Count Duncan, it is decided that the criteria for his test be altered so that he may prove he is worthy to be knighted and eventually take over for his grandfather. This book also reveals the infiltration of the Unseelie and the attempts to sabotage the Seelie Court.

    3. An enjoyable short story within the Fae of Calaveras series. This short story had plenty of fantasy from dragons, to chivalrous knights, and to not so helpless maidens. The story was narrated by Ashleigh, the not so helpless betrothed maiden and her voice was a far less angsty teen as her peers.

    4. this short story tells you about Glen and his test to be a Knight in his grandfathers court and Ashleigh his betrothed. This story gives you a little more insight to these two characters that you can not get in the main story. A tale of its own it is very cute and worth reading!!!

    5. Midsummer Knight is another quest story but this time of Glen, the Duke’s successor. It is told by Ashleigh, the betrothed of Glen. In this story Glen earns his right to become a knight by dealing with a mythical creature and is helped in his quest by Ashleigh.
