I used the pdf version.That being said, this book is a mess. I’m going into this not knowing much about Whole30, which I didn’t know would be a requirement.• The lists of what foods you can and cannot eat seem incomplete, and were unexplained as well (under foods you cannot eat, it lists "amino acids."     2. I love crockpot recipes. Cooking is not always easy for me, so being able to put my meal into a pot in the morning and walk away until dinner time is extremely attractive to me. This is the second cookbook I've read from Ms. Rice.My family and I try to cook and eat whole, especially since we currently live with someone on a very restricted diet.     3. When I started reading the 30 Day Whole Food Slow Cooker Challenge, I thought that I was going to be reading about a vegan approach to dieting. I don’t know why I thought that but I found the opposite. There are plenty of meat recipes in the book, one of which I tried immediately before completing the book.
